Just Call Me Moose …

Hi! I’m Madison Moosa from Charlotte, NC, but you can call me Moose!

Thank you for visiting my home page. Because you are here, I’m guessing we have something in common: the love for the game of golf!

I was first introduced to the game by my father at the age of 8 when he said he would buy me a Wendy’s frosty if I went to the driving range with him. For an 8-year-old that’s a pretty good trade, am I right? I quickly fell in love with the game and enjoyed spending quality time with my dad.

From an early age I was surrounded by great teachers of golf and through hard work and persistence, I competed on a national level and won many junior tournaments. I was selected to the All-State team in North Carolina seven times and was selected to play in my first professional event as a junior in high school.

Following high school was a successful career at Furman University, competing for the Women’s golf team and graduating with honors in Health Sciences. Despite my Junior year season being cancelled due to COVID, in three seasons our team won 2 Southern Conference Championships. I was named to the All-Freshman Team and twice to the All-Conference Team. I finished as an individual runner up my senior year.

Becoming a professional golfer upon graduating from Furman has been an exciting transition and new challenge. I am very blessed to have an outstanding team of coaches, mentors and sponsors supporting me. I am laser focused on becoming the best professional golfer I can be, while realizing that my true identity is not as a golfer, but rather in my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Thank you for following my journey and I am looking forward to sharing my story with you!
